Roles and activities related to supporting

the Tuesday and Wednesday evening Centering Prayer via Zoom sessions

• Creating:

- A Statement of Purpose for these groups, and
- A Transition Plan for onboarding additional resources to perform some or all of the roles listed below; such a plan would provide a very specific and detailed schedule of how those new resources would gradually be given increasing responsibility over time; this "shadow period" would be a precursor to their assuming full solo or shared responsibility in a given area

• Leading the weekly session(s); if leadership alternates, making sure that the leaders for a given week understand their role and are ready for the session.

- Selecting content: the opening and closing prayers, and the passage for the lectio divina
- Reading the above in the session, or selecting and recruiting members to do so
- Developing occasional visio divina and musica divina experiences: selecting the art and/or the musical piece, recruiting the musician, writing the script for the session leader, etc.

- Developing and giving little talks such as those you have given on Wednesdays, or developing alternatives for this
- Considering the need for an evening CP session outside the normal schedule in times of great need, and creating the content for that on short notice (e.g., national or global crisis)

• Technical Meeting Assistance

- Setting up/scheduling the meeting on the Zoom platform
- Serving as co-host to admit attendees to the virtual session and keeping participants muted throughout
- Recording the sessions and posting them on your current personal platform or a new platform TBD
- Technical Troubleshooting as needed

• Newsletter and Email Management

- Composing and Sending:
1) the weekly anticipatory emails with the Zoom link, as well as
2) the weekly post session emails with the summaries of the prayers for the sessions just concluded and the zoom links to the recordings

- Keeping track of other related events that may be offered by other contemplative communities, and which should be included in the above emails or special communications
- Maintaining the email distribution list
